When a young man, was a recreational mountain climber in the coastal ranges of British Columbia and Northern Washington State, until, but for the grace of God, a serious fall almost killed me.

During my middle adult years, was a keen sailor until I emigrated to Australia - go figure?? - and have now taken up woodworking, photography and web stuff.
