Caroline Osse

Growing up in central New Jersey, Caroline — also called Caro and Care — always aspired to experience the world outside of her farmland bubble. She has traveled around three continents and over fifteen countries. Now, she calls New York City home.

As Social Media & Communications Manager at NYU's Office of Interactive Media, Caroline supervises over a dozen interns, develops social media strategies, and manages HashtagNYU.

In 2013, Caroline earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Social & Cultural Analysis with a minor in Business Studies from NYU's College of Arts & Science. She also received her professional certification in Public Relations from NYU's School of Continuing & Professional Studies the same year.

In April 2013, Caroline completed her senior thesis, Mapping Sociality: Millennial Social Experience in Digital Space. Her research received High Honors and was presented at her college's Undergraduate Research Conference and her department's Honors Thesis Conference.

During college, Caroline studied abroad in Florence and Shanghai for a semester each. In her final three semesters back in New York City, Caroline worked intimately with The A/P/A Institute at NYU's A/P/A BRIDGE program, where she developed skills in event planning, facilitation, and leadership.

Caroline aspires for a career in social media, digital communications, and PR 2.0. She is particularly interested in a career in the entertainment industry, including TV, film, and video games.
