Carl Casale serves as the president and CEO of the Minnesota-based, Fortune 100 company CHS, Inc. The largest farm cooperative in the world, CHS has achieved extraordinary growth in revenue since Carl Casale joined the firm in January of 2011. In Mr. Casale’s first year at CHS, the food, grains, and energy giant secured a record profit of $1 billion.

Prior to joining CHS, Mr. Casale held numerous executive positions with the Monsanto Corporation, including serving as both executive vice president of strategy and operations and chief financial officer. He also functioned as the firm’s vice president for North America.

In preparation for his career in agribusiness, Carl Casale earned a bachelor of science in agricultural economics from Oregon State University. He then obtained a master of business administration from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born and raised on a vegetable farm in Oregon, the executive spends his free time operating his 100-acre blueberry farm with his wife Kim.
