Carleton Crutchfield

Minneapolis-Saint Paul-based attorney Carleton Crutchfield has an accomplished career of representing both individual clients and small and large businesses in matters ranging from bankruptcy and consumer protection to commercial and real estate transactions. After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts from Morehouse College, he completed a master of public administration at Princeton University. While earning his MPA, Carleton Crutchfield also attended Columbia Law School, from which he received his juris doctor in 1991.

After law school, Mr. Crutchfield moved to Minneapolis, where he worked as a commercial and corporate law attorney with Faegre & Benson (now Faegre Baker Daniels LLP) for four years. He later served as a partner with the general commercial and transactional legal practice Mitsch & Crutchfield until the early 2000s. From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Crutchfield managed a real estate investment portfolio for Rush River Partners. Traveling between the United States and United Arab Emirates, he also taught English in a post-graduate course at Taif University in Saudi Arabia.

Before founding his current practice of Crutchfield & Martin PLLC in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Mr. Crutchfield worked as a general counselor to the SWITCHA Beverage Corporation of the Bahamas. Today, he and his partner at Crutchfield & Martin offer high-quality legal services to individuals, public and private businesses, and nonprofit institutions.
