Heart and soul. This master percussionist, mural artist and natural born comedian, Carlos aka "Kookie" was born and raised in the San Francisco mission district. Carlos is a conga playing master who thrives on the fusion beat of Latin, soul, rock and anything that makes him groove. His musical artistry spans beautifully beyond the typical player. He comically prides himself as a low riding loco 'Vato' who embraces his rich Mexicano culture. What more can be said other than he lays down on the skins like mad! You just have to be there to hear and see it for yourself! (exclamation :)
