Carlo Thomas

Employing years of extensive training, vocal coach and technician Carlo Thomas has appeared on Broadway and elsewhere in numerous plays and musicals. His performances include roles in 1776, The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe. On radio and television, Carlo Thomas has played the roles of Spinelloccio in Gianni Schicchi, Gourmantus in The Egg, and the Sheriff in Martin’s Lie. He has received positive reviews from Hal Prince, Irving Lowens of the Washington Star, and Werner Vollmann of the Associated Press in Vienna.

The vocal coach and technician possesses a long list of skills, including the ability to sing as a contralto, fake tenor, bass-baritone, and bass. As a bass, he has appeared in many operas, including Rigoletto, La Traviata, and The Queen of Spades. A well-rounded performer, he can also sing in a number of languages, including French, German, Hebrew, and Italian. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
