Carol Massoud

Real Estate Manager and Developer Carol Massoud has a longstanding history in her field. In her current role, she is the Vice President of Development for Maestri Terra Real Estate. The former Regional Director of Colliers International, Massoud recently oversaw real estate management and development for areas in Ottawa and Quebec and maintained a wide portfolio that encompassed commercial properties, as well as industrial ones. Furthermore, Carol Massoud possesses an impressive skill set that she employs in her role as a bilingual, task-oriented leader.

Massoud got her start as a student in 1982, when she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. In 1996, she went back to school to acquire her Property Manager Certificate at the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the following year, she obtained her license in real estate. Finally, in 2003, Carol Massoud completed her Master's degree in Business Administration in Concordia University's Executive program.

During the ensuing years, Carol Massoud got her professional start with a Property Manager position in the late 1980's, in which she oversaw high-rise residential properties in Montreal. She went on to a related position before taking on a Project Management and Development role at Sigma Property Management in the late '90s. In that role, she started a retail concept that extended to retail properties throughout the city, and she also handled leases and construction management. In subsequent years, she held similar roles, most notably at ING Real Estate, where she was the Director of Leasing and Property Management. In that position, she was able through a hands-on approach to develop a seven million square foot space and increase its occupancy overall by 97 percent.

Alongside these professional positions, Massoud enjoys hobbies that include scuba diving and hiking. Furthermore, in her spare time she volunteers with World Children, which sponsors children in need.
