Caroline Kyungah Hong is an assistant professor of English at Queens College, City University of New York, where she teaches courses on Asian American literature and film, writers of color, and race and pop culture. She is currently working on a book on Asian American comedy and humor.

She is also the co-managing editor for the peer-reviewed, open-access online Journal of Transnational American Studies and a blogger for Wide Lantern: The World Wide Web in Color.

She lives in NYC and spends her spare time eating everything, watching embarrassing amounts of TV, going to the theater, reading, singing along to any kind of music, playing games, and generally being a huge nerd and fangirl.
