Caroline Itjen

A New York resident, Caroline Itjen balances a busy career as a dental hygienist with a range of philanthropic and personal pursuits. An animal lover, she volunteers as a dog walker at nonprofit animal organizations such as the North Shore Animal League. When not volunteering with nonprofit groups, she maintains an active lifestyle that includes running on the boardwalk and cycling to the beach. Caroline Itjen also enjoys reading about conservative politics and listening to political commentators on the radio.

Professionally, Caroline Itjen has served as a dental hygienist for more than 25 years in the New York City area. During her long career, she has gained experience in areas such as periodontal disease management, Peridex irrigation, intra-oral camera manipulation, and soft-tissue management. An active member of the field, she belongs to professional organizations such as the American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA) and consistently works to expand her professional knowledge by attending conferences and seminars.

Ms. Itjen holds an associate degree in dental hygiene from New York City Technical College. She completed her dental assistant internship at New York University Dental School.
