Caroline Swinburne

Adelaide, Australia

Established in 1979, Caroline spent her first 17 years in Melbourne where she developed a healthy disinterest in AFL football. Moving to Townsville for university to study Marine Biology, Caroline completed a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course and was hooked for life. A transfer to Adelaide in 2000 was her undoing, exposing her to the addictive lifestyle of a Divemaster and then Instructor, with a subsequent return to Melbourne and its delightful diving in 2006. Several more years saw teaching get well and truly into her blood and she went back to uni to become a primary school teacher. After two further years travelling and diving she is finally in the classroom at a wonderful school in Adelaide. Her interests include bugs, frogs and technology. In other words: a geek.
