I've always enjoyed breaking the rules. When someone tells me not to do something, it's the only thing I can think about. So when people told me I could never succeed as an actor, I ditched the idea of getting a degree and going to a 4 year college and instead applied to a 2 year academy for musical theatre. Once I got in - because once I've set my mind on a path, nothing will keep me from getting it - I promptly moved away from the town of Alexandria, VA where I'd lived my entire life and moved to New York City to go to school.

Five years later, I've started a theatre company that produces benefit concerts for charitable organizations and dedicated my life to the arts. I avidly support DKMS Americas the bone marrow donor bank, and am currently organizing a concert to raise awareness and to raise money for such a wonderful cause. I'm registered, and I hope one day they'll tell me I'm a match for someone who needs my marrow, so that I can help to save a life.

You're only as limited as you believe you are.
