Carol Pledger

Carol Pledger served as a management consultant with Accenture in London before joining Goldman Sachs in New York City to direct global talent management and human resource functions. Carol Pledger rose to the position of Global Head of Talent Management at Goldman Sachs. Her responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of Goldman Sachs’ recruiting activities, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and the in-house training and development function known as Goldman Sachs University. She was also responsible for senior level talent reviews and the employee engagement survey.

From 2009 to 2012 Carol Pledger served as a member of the Board of Directors of New York’s City Harvest. Her volunteer activities included rescuing unsold food from farmer’s markets, repacking food donations, and serving at a fruit and vegetable market. She is currently volunteering her time to City Harvest as a human resources advisor. Ms. Pledger also served as a mentor in the Goldman Sachs philanthropic programs 10,000 Women and 10,000 Small Businesses.

Carol Pledger holds both a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Brighton.
