I'm a 40 year old husband, father, son, contemplative who loves to be outdoors.  I enjoy backpacking trips with friends as well as periods of stillness and silence.

I make my living as a Network and Information Systems Administrator for a public school district in Texas.  I have been in this industry for almost 20 years now.

I am an Episcopalian who finds much wisdom and direction from the Eastern Traditions; especially the Desert Fathers and Mothers.  I try earnestly to live a contemplative life as best as I can while among the business of my vocation.
