Catherine Skrzypinski has two decades of journalism experience at magazines, newswires, newspapers, radio, trade publications and corporate communications.

She has worked as a reporter and editor in North America, including New York, Washington D.C., Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver. Earlier in her career, she reported on business news from Europe in Zurich, Switzerland, Copenhagen, Denmark and Oslo, Norway.

Her expertise is in European affairs, China's economy and its diplomatic ties to North America, along with global HR issues, most specifically in Canada.

She is also an adjunct associate professor of journalism at University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly UMUC), and a journalism instructor at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

A graduate of Syracuse University with a BA/BS degree in newspaper journalism and international relations, Catherine also received a MA in European Journalism from Cardiff University, Wales.
