I currently live in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo. I am the Head of the Vulnerability Analysis Mapping (VAM) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) unit at the World Food Programme (WFP).

I have an MSc Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security at Lancaster University and a BS Environmental Management and Protection from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I have worked with ICARDA in Morocco, UN Women in Egypt, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy. I am also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) Ethiopia (2012-2014). I served as a Resilient Environment Agriculture and Livelihoods, or REAL Volunteer, in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.

My passions include: traveling, yoga, reading, eating nice food, drinking wine, learning new things (especially languages and vocabulary), helping people, going to the hammam, organizing, running now and then, discovering new music.
