Cassie Burback
Born and raised in the midwest, but always dreaming of new places to go, and adventures to embark on. I am a substitute teacher by day and gardener by night. A "glass-half-full" kind of girl with a touch of spontaneity to boot. I try to soak up as much joy as possible in my daily life.
After a trip to Guatemala in 2009, I began to reconsider my priorities in life. And a trip to Sierra Leone in 2010 opened my eyes to a whole new world of poverty.
As the Iowa Chapter Tribe Leader, I hope to play a small role in bringing an end to extreme poverty. Check out the current GROW campaign and consider joining this tribe in the fight! I am proud to be a part of the One to 1000 Challenge!
