Catherine Salbashian

My name is Catherine Salbashian, and I offer translation and editing services from Italian and French into English. Originally from London, I am now based in sunny Puglia, the "heel" of Italy, after more than a decade spent living and working in Milan.

With around 15 years of experience as a freelance translator, I am also available for editing, proofreading, corporate blogging and copywriting. I generally prefer not to use CAT tools as the kind of work I specialise in requires a more organic, handcrafted approach.

I enjoy the intellectual stimulation of working with creative and academic clients to produce engaging, natural-sounding texts in my native English on a variety of mainly arts-based subjects.
