Charlene Chausis aspires to support educators in discovering ways to amplify students' creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• 2010-2018: Co-chair of the Students Involved with Technology (SIT) Conference, a conference BY students, FOR students - northern Illinois site.

• Member-at-large on the IDEA North Suburban (formerly the Northern Illinois Computing Educators) board. Previous NICE Communications Chair, NICE Chapter President, and served on the Illinois Computing Educators, (now Illinois Digital Educators Alliance), Leadership team as President: 2013-2016.

• Frequent presenter at national, state and local education conferences.

• 2012 - 2018: Provide support for educators and students in the Personal Technology Initiative at District 102's Aptakisic Jr High School in Buffalo Grove, IL.

• 1996 - 2012: Technology Training and Integration Manager at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL.
