Hey there--my name is Chris and I'm a Senior Editor at FastCompany, where I edit FastCo.Labs, the magazine's hacker news site. Like any lab worth its name, my team and I experiment with publishing technology and disseminate what we've learned through talks and classes at places like General Assembly, Stanford Graduate School of Business, TechStars@Kaplan and Soho House New York.

I'm also a co-founder and Head of Product at Writebot, where we're building a Meteor.js-based chat platform for fast-moving enterprises and testing it in-house at FastCompany. My background is in journalism, design and consulting--see my full work history here. I've worked on design documentation for Microsoft, user interface projects for Samsung's display group, and branding for Red Bull.

Prior to becoming editor at FastCompany, I wrote for CBS MoneyWatch, Forbes, MIT Technology Review, The Atlantic, INC, Rolling Stone and Discover magazines. As a photojournalist for BIKE magazine in California, I traveled the country documenting remote mountain bike trails.

I'm 29 years old and reside in Brooklyn, NY. Feel free to contact me about stories or speaking engagements.
