My name is C. Enrique Ortiz (CEO), a Mobile technologist & author.

I organize Mobile Monday Austin, Android Dev Austin and the Austin Mobile Scene. I blog at About Mobility. I am founding member of Austin Wireless Alliance and the Austin Awesome Foundation. I am an advisor to various Austin startups, the Austin Technology Incubator and SXSW Interactive. I  teach Android programming at the Austin Community College. I used to be a Space Shuttle avionics software "rocket scientist".

Areas of interest include: Mobile & embedded, end-to-end Mobile computing, the Internet of Things, "Mobile, Ambient and Social" context, Augmented Interactions, People-centric computing. I'm a space program buff.
