SOURISH CHAKRABORTY

Hailing from Salt Lake City, Kolkata I am an I.T. Engineer and currently pursuing Dual M.B.A in the fields of MARKETING & OPERATIONS. Since my school days I had been associated with many initiatives. From being associated with local committee for doing voluntary service to conducting informal research for an NGO, my life was exciting.
I worked for many projects during my degree days which helped me to explore a plethora of fields. My studies revolved from around Stock Market Trends, to internal Report for a laptop MNC, to Surveys analysing a Communication Companies, to gaining knowledge on ISDN to Studying a Power Plant. All the initiatives helped me in better understanding of the Transactions occurring in the Globe - from Business to Concepts to Theories.
I have worked with many start-ups with jobs that range from frontline agencies to data entry. I was informally associated with few start-ups by the virtue of being related to the investors. I had also worked in 2 renowned MNCs at both national and international platform.
Apart from studies, I follow the path of innovation by trying to follow up ideas and opportunities to give meaningful interpretations. Presently I am informally working on 4 product ideas, two concepts - one in HR and one in Operation, 2 business ideas to the best of my limited capacity and exposure.
The compulsory projects during my student career (both grad & post-grad) and some informal applications I have showcase of more than five neatly represented projects with each done utmost sincerity and specific agenda weighing proportional to their importance. Also I equipped myself on preliminary knowledge of various applications and technology ranging from SAP, 3dvia, PLM, to SPSS, Excel.
I used to participate in drama during school years. I am an ardent player of Football with strong affinity towards a local outfit. I played in several Intra-School, Intra-College football and Intra-University events winning our group’s maiden organisation – an invitational football tournament as a player.
Besides working actively for the responsibility/designation, whatever it may, I am/or will be holding, I would like to continue with my informal applications in hope that they sometimes can become meaningful to the organisations I am associated with or can be the seed of my personal venture.
