I'm an Emmy-nominated investigative documentary maker - directing and producing films and series for Netflix, HBO, Discovery, VICE and Channel 4.

I've reported for CNN and was formerly the Senior Presenter for 101 East - Al Jazeera's Multi-Award Winning News & Current Affairs investigative program.

Before making films, I was a news correspondent for 20 years reporting for various networks - covering conflicts and disasters - including America's longest war in Afghanistan, along with global geopolitics. American-born, I've been based in Asia for more than 15 years.

When not filming, my passion is running wild in the Great Outdoors.
