Charmaine Yip

An outgoing, ambitious and hardworking individual, I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my skills and horizons. I am currently finishing my Fine Arts degree at Ryerson University, while being a student ambassador as a blogger and campus tour leader. 

Specialties: Non-profit and youth-based work with experiences working with students in employment agencies, event management and outreach activities. Literate in social media, technology and art. 

Arts Involvement: Workshops with Canadian Stage, Soulpepper, Intermission Toronto and recently joined the Creators Unit for the Paprika Festival. I love watching musicals, plays, and going to events in the city.

Accomplishments:

• Coordinated New York trip for over 100 students
• Traveled and studied in Southeastern Asia for 5 months
• Researched theatrical opportunities independently and attends workshops and events in the art community

Future Goals:

• Become an inspiring writer, versed in social media and blogger
• Promote the arts community through publicity and accessibility
• Work and travel abroad to learn about other cultures
