Chaya Pomeranz-Sherman

Chaya Pomeranz-Sherman is a community builder and social entrepreneur. She has proven experience in founding, managing, and growing community-centered non-profits, as well as five years of senior-level experience in customer management and engagement.
In her day job, Chaya serves as Director of Early Stage Programs at MassChallenge. She is also the Chairperson of the Israeli Model UN Association. Chaya is a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Shaper alumni where she served as Curator of the New York City Hub, and as an Executive Committee Member of the Boston Hub. Chaya is also a Rotary International member, and a Jewish Diplomat for the World Jewish Congress. Chaya is an ADL Associate Board member and after a two-year term as a founding Alumni Committee Member of the Coaching Fellowship (20170-2019) now serves as the organization’s New England Chapter Coordinator.
Prior to this, Chaya served as CEO of ARINGO Consulting, an educational consulting company (2014-2019). She worked as a Political Consultant for international affairs, was elected Chairperson of the World Union of Jewish Students, WUJS (2012-2014) and was the founder and President of the Israeli Model UN Association, IMUNA (2010-2012) – Israel’s Model UN Umbrella organization.
For over a decade, Chaya has been actively involved in a variety of civic action and diplomatic organizations, including the UN, EU, and Israel’s diplomatic missions. She has worked closely with young leaders from across over 80 countries on areas relating to women empowerment, interfaith, migration, and cross-cultural development. Chaya sat on the boards of several large international Jewish Organizations, representing Jewish youth to the international community. Chaya holds a Masters degree in Political Communication and a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Communications (Summa cum Laude) from Bar-Ilan University. She is a graduate of the ‘HOW Institute for Society NXT-GEN Fellowship for Moral Leadership’, the Jewish Statesmanship Center for Strategic Planning, an alumnus of the Microsoft Ventures Tapsa MBA Program, The Tikvah Institute, and a professional cake decorator.
