José Luis Ferran

Doctorado en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Buenos Aires decidí hacer mi postdoc en Murcia en el año 2002. Actualmente me desempeño como Profesor de Anatomía en las Facultades de Medicina y de Ciencias del Deporte de la Universidad de Murcia.

Formo parte del grupo de investigación "Genoarquitectura Funcional", del Departamento de Anatomía Humana de la Universidad de Murcia. Me interesa conocer la estructura del cerebro en detalle para comenzar desde esta perspectiva a comprender su función.

Con mis colaboradores de Ciencias del Deporte hemos iniciado una línea de investigación en roedores que pretende evaluar el efecto de a actividad fisica en la maduración de la genoarquitectura y función cerebral.

Me gusta viajar... conocer el mundo y la manifestación cultural humana a través de un encuentro directo con su naturaleza... .

En mi tiempo libre cuando eso es posible... me interesa la poesía, la novela histórica y la ópera... . Además me gusta compartir mi tiempo con las mentes inquietas y curiosas.

I made my PhD at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires and decided to do my postdoc in Murcia in 2002. Currently I work as Professor of Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Sports Science at the University of Murcia.

I am part of the research group "Functional Genoarchitecture", at the Department of Human Anatomy of the University of Murcia. I am interested to know the structure of the brain in detail from this perspective to begin to understand their function.

With my staff of Sports Science we have started a research in rodents that aims to evaluate the effect of physical activity on genoarchetctonic maturation and brain function.

I like to travel and see the world ... human cultural manifestation through a direct encounter with nature ....

In my spare time when that is possible ... I'm interested in poetry, the historical novel and the opera .... I also like to share my time with the restless and curious minds.
