I'm a Senior User Experience Designer with Microsoft, where I'm currently working on the future of automotive infotainment. My diverse experience as a designer and producer spans multiple industries – I have designed for billion-dollar server products and a variety of video games (including The Sims and Disney Friends), theme parks, and websites.

As a woman in technology, I'm passionate about exposing girls to the many technology-oriented career options available to them. I volunteer year-round as a STEM career panelist, mentor, and instructor. I've taught various versions of my "Making the World Easier with Interaction Design" workshop to hundreds of girls and adults in the past 18 months. Organizations I partner with include the Huffington Post, DigiGirlz and IGNITE.

I've also been acting professionally in the Seattle area since 2005. I've been an ensemble member with Unexpected Productions - home of Seattle TheatreSports improv comedy - since 2008. I can also be seen in shows like “Where No Man Has Gone Before” (improvised Star Trek), NERDprov (geeky shortform improv) as well as various musical theatre & video productions. In 2009, I co-wrote and co-starred in a short Web video series for MSN Movies called "I'd See It If...", which received over 500,000 views.
