As the former managing director/CEO of Millennium Oil & Gas Company Limited (MOGCL), Chiedu Ebie lead a wholly domestically owned company operating under the umbrella of Nigeria’s indigenization program in exploring and producing hydrocarbon resources.
Mr. Ebie directed MOGCL operations in a way that integrated the strategic considerations of industry partners and stakeholders. Commercial production is set to begin in the Oza field in the first quarter of 2015. Mr. Ebie holds a degree from the Nigerian Law School and has past experience guiding the boutique law firm Okonjo, Odiawa & Ebie – Legal Practitioners. He also played a vital role in launching This Day Newspapers, published by Leaders & Company Limited. The publication has achieved recognition as one of Nigeria’s leading news sources.
Today he serves as commissioner of Delta State Ministry of Education.
