Currently working as Digital Arts National Program Director at Tec de Monterrey, board member of Las Maquinitas - Ventana Sur (a bridge between the game and audiovisual industries), and studying for a doctorate degree in Arts and Design at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). My thesis is about liberty facing Industry 4.0, basically, how games and art can teach us how to change our role when using software.
Games also belong on places usually reserved for Art and Design. Founder of the Games Lab at the Centro de Cultura Digital of the Secretaría de Cultura in Mexico and DEVHR (International Games Forum).
Expert in games and technology as tools for good, esports, communty events, innovation, hackathons, game jams, pedagogy, simulation, role-playing, ludoliteracy, and geek culture. There was a TEDx Talk about all that.
