I currently live in the South of France, but was born and grew up in Zimbabwe.
I started cycling as a teenager where I represented Zimbabwe on a number of occasions, including the 1991 junior world cycling championships in Colorado. As well as cycling, I enjoy wildlife, travel and am a keen bird and wildlife photographer.
I am also a qualified Field Guide (safari guide) and have worked on safari lodges in South Africa.
I own and run the Safari Holiday Guide and the Best Binocular Reviews websites amongst a few others, which do their best to keep me behind a desk, but am always looking for an excuse to get back into the bush.
