Christopher Somerville

Video Media Server Programmer in Nashville, TN

Media Server Programmer/Operator: Dataton WATCHOUT, Disguise (d3), Millumin.

Also: Multi Camera Director, Producer, Editor, Projectionist. Chris Somerville feels that wearing many different hats keeps things interesting and rewarding. With more than 20 years in the live event production and entertainment industry, he's provided video direction and engineering support on arena sized concert tours, and so many corporate shows he couldn't give us an accurate count.

Before engaging in live events and life on the road, Chris worked as a director, DP, gaffer, grip and parts in between on a multitude of national television commercials, music videos, training videos, programs and documentaries for MTV, NBC, Harley Davidson, Sesame Street and more.

Currently specializing mainly in WATCHOUT, d3, Millumin programming, combined with Bench Technician Certification from BARCO (projection systems) and years of Event Staging make Chris a Multi-Media, Multi-Screen, engineer and project manager.

A graduate from Nashville's Belmont University, Chris holds degree in Film Production and Mass Communication.

When not on the road, you might find him running around at the offices of PK Pictures where he mostly eats the M&M's and plays the pinball machine in the lobby.

Chris was also an artist for a while. www.woodatwork.us
