Chris Tyrrell is a financial executive, innovator, investor and advisor, specializing in risk and compliance management. He is currently the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Ondo Finance. Chris previously served as CCO of EDX Markets and Head of Americas Compliance at Blockchain.com. At Goldman Sachs, Chris built and led Digital Assets Compliance and was head of Data Governance Risk. He is an expert in risk assessment, digital assets, venture and growth capital, regulatory compliance and controls, as well as institutional data governance and privacy.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Chris was the founder and CEO of OfferBoard, a regulated investment platform that used proprietary technology and dating-style matching algorithms to raise growth capital. OfferBoard was acquired by Entoro Group in 2017.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience in risk management, entrepreneurship, financial law, technology and capital markets, having managed and founded two private technology companies and been involved in more than $20 billion of financing transactions. He specialized in asset-based finance at the Wall Street law firm Cadwalader and served as Managing Director for venture investments at Nehemiah Investments, a family office.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Texas honors program and the University of Virginia School of Law. He started college at age 15 at the University of North Texas, and is currently completing his Masters' dissertation in AI Ethics at Pembroke College, Oxford University, UK.

Chris lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife Susanne; they are parents of nine children.
