Chris Endfinger, MD, has enjoyed a rewarding career in emergency room medicine since 1997. Previously the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, he now serves as an Emergency Room Attending Physician for TeamHealth Southeast. In this role, Dr. Chris Endfinger provides emergency treatment to patients of all ages at various Alabama health care facilities. When his schedule allows, Dr. Endfinger also participates in international humanitarian missions with his church and has made multiple trips to Honduras to deliver medical care to members of the nation’s underserved population. Dr. Chris Endfinger’s contributions to charity extend to causes outside the medical field as well. He supports the philanthropic efforts of a number of Christian organizations benefiting the local and global communities, including Fight 4Life Fitness and Boxing Ministry, Inc., in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded by a fellow church member, Fight 4Life strives to uplift children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds through sport, education, and spiritual guidance. Dr. Endfinger is also a longtime supporter of Compassion International, a ministry assisting more than one million children worldwide. Dr. Chris Endfinger holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Lipscomb University, a Church of Christ institution in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency training at UAB and has maintained board certification in family practice medicine since 1996. A married father of two, Dr. Chris Endfinger enjoys seeing movies with his family and attending his children’s sporting events. He also devotes much of his time to his faith and has performed baptisms on several family members, including his wife of 19 years and both of his children.
