I'm a technology executive focused on cybersecurity.

Most recently, I served as Chief Research Officer at Veracode, a Boston-based cybersecurity company. During my tenure of over 18 years, Veracode grew from a seed-stage startup to a thriving business, culminating in multiple acquisitions between 2017 and 2022, most recently at a $2.5B valuation.

I speak worldwide on topics such as secure coding, software testing, cybersecurity metrics, secure DevOps, and (a long time ago) cryptography. I enjoy meeting and learning from smart people, preferably in small groups.

Occasionally, I'm a media spokesperson for security-related news stories. Bloomberg, Fox Business, CBS, and other prominent media outlets have interviewed me as part of their coverage.

I'm a review board member for the Black Hat USA conference and have led Application Security related tracks for several years.

I dabble in photography, cooking, craft cocktails, and venture investing.
