Christopher Gangai

San Jose, California

Most people call me “Chris” and I am originally from Toronto. I now live in San Jose with my beautiful wife, Lilly, who is an Academic Advisor at University Of California Santa Cruz. She inspires me every day to excel in my work and is a great life partner.

With regard to myself, I am an individual who likes to spend time with friends and family as much as possible. Whether it is hosting people at my house for a San Jose Sharks game or going out on the town, I value spending time with others. I’m your quintessential “people person.” Also, sports are my passion. I usually play ice hockey several times a week, ride my mountain bike, and play golf. I also enjoy photography and mixing tracks as hobbies.

Places in the world that I have had the privilege to visit:
• Capetown, South Africa
• Frankfurt, Germany
• Lisbon, Portugal
• Maui, Hawaii
• Nassau, Bahamas
• Montreal, Canada

My professional experience includes working for start-up, public, private and nonprofit companies in support of critical departments and strategies. These environments were fast-paced and demanded hard work, excellent organizational skills, and learning things on the fly. My qualifications include the ability to manage the following: contract negotiations, customer service, retail sales, relationship building, media production, journalism, event planning and logistics, and grass root marketing. I’m good at multi-tasking, often managing multiple deliverables or programs at a time.

I pride myself on having an entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for business organization, leadership, product management, innovation, and project facilitation. I am an energetic, reliable, detail-oriented, versatile worker who enjoys carrying a full, varied workload. I work with online tools, templates, checklists, calendars, databases, project files and have a great command of my desktop. I’m also a very resourceful problem-solver who enjoys helping co-workers with any projects or unexpected issues. I get high marks as a team player.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my “About Me” page, I really appreciate it! I would like to dedicate this page to my mother; she passed away last year to stage 4 Breast Cancer at the age of 56. My mother spent most of her life making me happy and raising me right, yet forgetting to take care of her own self. I know she is proud of who I have become and I w
