I am a guitarist, harp-man, and a physics professor at Lycoming College. I enjoy teaching at a liberal arts institution. My research interests are in nonlinear dynamics. Recently, much of my work has focused on nonlinear time series analysis and developing simple mathematical models of combustion.

When I am not doing physics, I enjoy reading, cycling, running, and playing the harmonica and guitar.  I am also in the process of teaching myself a little about music theory. I live in the Williamsport, PA area with my wife, Gail.
