Chris Davis

Dallas, Texas

Born and raised in Dallas, Chris Davis has been carving out his own musical niche since receiving his first guitar at the age of four. After several years of playing guitar in high-school bands, at the age of 17 he set out to write and sing his own music. As a freshman at Franciscan University, Chris recorded a demo album with Dallas based producer/drummer John Dufilho (of The Deathray Davies and The Apples In Stereo) which eventually reached the ears of Lynn Nichols and Grammy Award winning producer Tedd Tjornhom. In 2009, Chris began a development deal with their independent production house, LYNTT Music Group in Nashville. In 2011, Chris came full circle when he released his debut EP, Onefifteen, which was produced by Nichols and Tjornhom. Chris's songs have been featured by the likes of Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Kohl's, and American Songwriter Magazine. In the fall of 2012, Chris was a Top 25 Finalist in The Martin Guitar and American Songwriter Magazine "Pub Deal" contest. He is currently taking time to work on a full-length album with a yet to be named project.
