A Google for Education Certified Trainer and the Instructional Technology Specialist for Wilson School District in PA, I taught high school math and computer science for 10 years. For the past 9 years I have moved into the role of a technology specialist in the classroom. I serve teachers in leveraging technology and shifting instructional practices towards a student focused 21st Century teaching and learning environment. Helping teachers and students learn how to learn differently, and offer choices for students creating and publishing the work in the classroom.

Students understand more deeply when they have to teach and create authenticate products and engage in solving real problems. Igniting passions in students by allowing them to find what interests them is a lofty task, but as Confucius put it, 'choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life'. Helping students acquire 21st Century skills will allow them to create their career according to their passions.
