Chris Robine

A business veteran with 14 years of experience at General Electric Company (GE), Chris Robine became President and CEO of SPG Solar in Novato, California, in 2010. Before accepting his post at SPG, Mr. Robine served as the CFO of GE’s renewable energy division, GE Energy, in Schenectady, New York. Working closely with the CEO of the division, Chris Robine assisted with the transformation of GE Energy into an industry leader. Chris Robine also held a position on the board of PrimeStar Solar, a GE-affiliated solar company specializing in the production of thin film modules. Chris Robine’s other work experience with GE included a tenure as the Director of Finance and Integration programs in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he reported directly to the CFO. His responsibilities spanned GE’s entire infrastructure, with the goal of growing operating profit by 15% and revenue by 11%. Mr. Robine also supervised eight teams that led restructuring initiatives. Previously, while working as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in the same division, Chris Robine was responsible for annual forecasting for GE’s Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow. He has also worked as a Senior Audit Manager for GE, leading reviews of the healthcare, lighting, aviation, reinsurance, commercial equipment finance, and capital solutions divisions. Mr. Robine earned a degree in business and financial management from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Business. He holds a patent through his work with GE.
