Chris Romero is a comic who can act, write and produce for the stage and screen. He was raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn where he was teased about his apparent "larger than life" head, ambitions and his love for books. He was once told by a school dean that, "To have such a large head and to want to use it is for such large goals was just too redundant ." He began performing in live theater on the Lower East Side of New York City at Theater for the New City (The largest Avant Garde Theater in the U.S.). From there, he attended The LaGuardia HS for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center and New World School of the Arts at The University of Florida in Miami. He has performed in stages across Florida, NY and Los Angeles. He produced his first feature "As An Act of Protest" with long time collaborator Dennis Leroy Kangalee which was aired on German TV and toured the festival circuit. As an avid human rights activist, he has raised money for retired nuns and war veterans through his organization Central Florida Stand Up (which uses comedy and social media to bring attention to worthwhile causes). He has created hos own media identity as an actor, producer and web marketer of creative content. He believes in integrity and great content over all and is the father of an amazing son Eli Joseph.
