Christie Thebault

As a Public Relations Intern at HL Group in New York City, Christie Thebault scrutinized social media channels, built media relationships, coordinated and assembled media lists, participated in company brainstorming sessions, and maintained the firm’s event calendar. During this summer internship, Christie Thebault gained valuable knowledge about the public relations, marketing, and media communications fields from several angles. She learned how to develop promotional strategies to benefit the firm’s clientele in the fashion, entertainment, interior design, and spirits industries. In addition, Thebault fostered strong relationships with radio, print, Internet, and television news outlets while serving at HL Group. As an undergraduate student at Fairfield University, Christie Thebault completed other internships, including one with Inclusion Teaming, a non-profit entity that helps youths embrace the diversity among the world’s ethnic groups and cultures. In this role, Christie Thebault worked on event management, generated media lists, and undertook a wide range of office duties for five months in 2011. In May 2011, Christie Thebault received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Fairfield University, where her impressive academic performance placed her on the Dean’s list for three years. In 2007, Christie Thebault graduated from Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, where she led the high school’s field hockey team as the squad’s captain. Devoted to causes that resonate with her values, Christie Thebault contributes to the The Adeona Foundation, LLC, a group that is devoted to raising awareness and funds for community-based charities that benefit the youth of New York City. When she is not working or engaged with charitable activities, Christie Thebault enjoys spending time outdoors, riding horses, going golfing, skiing in the winter, and playing tennis.
