Christopher Bearden

A Senior Systems Engineer, Engineering Consultant, and owner of Patriot SE Consulting, based in Satellite Beach, Florida, Christopher Bearden assists contractors in meeting proposal requirements to secure United States Department of Defense contracts. Through his development of technical specifications and requirements databases, configuration of management plans, and other complex applications of his engineering expertise, he drafted one-third of URS Corporation’s winning technical proposals. Consequently, URS hired Bearden as Chief Systems Engineer for the $900 million LIVEWIRE program for the National Security Agency. At the University of Connecticut, which he attended on a U.S. Air Force scholarship, Christopher Bearden graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Circuit Design. On a U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff scholarship, he completed a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Design at Northeastern University in Massachusetts. As a member of the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, Bearden oversaw electrical engineering on reconnaissance aircraft and served as Project Manager on Joint STARS aircraft. Attaining the rank of Captain, Bearden received the Meritorious Service Award. Prior to founding Patriot SE Consulting in 2002, Christopher Bearden served as Vice President of Scientia Global, Inc.; as Director of Systems Engineering for Science Applications International Corporation; and as BAE Systems North America’s Manager of Systems Engineering. He is a member of the International Council on Systems Engineering and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International. Bearden also supports the FIRST Robotics Competition, getsocialbrevard.com, and the American Kennel Club (AKC). The proud owners of three AKC-registered Welsh corgis, he and his wife participate in rally and obedience trials throughout Florida. The couple also served as founding members of the Vivace Society in Brevard County, Florida, which supports cultural pursuits. Recently, Christopher Bearden auditioned for and won a major part in Neil Simon's play Rumors.
