Christopher Kerry

Christopher is currently a Lecturer in Innovation and Strategy at Anglia Ruskin University.

His research focus is centred on Open Innovation, Systems of Innovation and the Triple-Helix Model. He became interested in the area whilst writing his dissertation for a MA (Hons) in Management and a MRES in Research Methods, which were obtained at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

Christopher recently published in the journal of ‘Industry and Higher Education’ his paper 'Open innovation, Triple Helix and regional innovation systems: Exploring CATAPULT Centres in the UK’, in conjunction with Prof. Michael Danson. He is also in the final stages of his PhD at Heriot-Watt University.

Furthermore, Christopher has a keen interest in teaching pedagogy. In his current role at ARU he is the learning lead for the Marketing, Enterprise and Tourism department, responsible for developing and disseminating innovative teaching practice. He is also the deputy course leader for the first year Business Management module.

Christopher achieved a First Class classification in 2011, was awarded the W L Sleigh Prize for best dissertation in the Management division of the School of Management and Languages, and also the Oxford University Press Crane and Matten Business Ethics Prize. Christopher was also awarded the BP Prize for Excellence at Heriot-Watt in 2010, along with three others, for his part in a theoretical business start-up module. In 2012, Christopher also became a Master in Research (MRes), and a former PhD representative for the School of Management and Languages.
