Christopher Minaya

Since 2011, Christopher Minaya, former editorial intern at XXL magazine, has interviewed quite a few notable artists, such as Big Sean, DJ Mustard, Styles P, Juvenile and others.
After completing his internship, Minaya continued to freelance for the magazine as well as other publications. In April of 2013, he began blogging for In Flex We Trust and helping the outset of Birdman's blog Stunna Life, which he continues to oversee.
Aside from journalism, he has worked at Bronx Community College since September 2005, advising freshmen, tutoring remedial English students, mentoring tutors, teaching workshops as well as supervising the college's writing center during weeknights and weekends.
Minaya graduated from the City of New York's Baruch College with a B.A. in Journalism & Creative Writing.
He still lives in New York and is usually cashmere thinking while simultaneously avoiding the everyday struggle.
