I’m Christopher Spence, born in Wembley, England and raised in Windsor, Ontario. My journey has taken me from the football field to the classroom, and from leadership in Canada’s largest school boards to the world of books and film.
Drafted by the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League (1985)
Former Principal at Lawrence Heights Middle School, recognized for innovative and award-winning leadership
Served as Director of Education for both the Toronto District School Board (largest in Canada, 4th largest in North America) and the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (7th largest in Ontario, 50,000+ students)
PhD in Education, with a lifelong commitment to equity, diversity, and student success
