I've been a professional graphic designer for just shy of a decade. During that time I've switched between working for a multilateral institution, advertising agencies and freelancing. I've enjoyed creating designs for government agencies, corporate giants and small local shops alike. In each place I've worked I've had a different experience being the only designer in multi-disciplinary teams.

At TDA (Brasilia, Brazil) I worked with an architect and a programmer on a series of large publications such as annual reports for government agencies as well as a hot site for PAHO and a comprehensive educational kit to be distributed to schools nation-wide.

Working alongside a copywriter and web designer at Quadra (São Paulo, Brazil) I was in charge of all DHL graphics country-wide. It was quite interesting to work on everything from store graphics and direct-mail pieces to custom-made VIP gifts.

For the past three years I've worked as an in-house designer for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Being in-house involved creating everything from exhibit design to visual identities and manuals, including infographics, posters, banners, web-banners, business cards, power-point, multimedia presentations, ads and brochures. Lots of brochures.

At the IDB (Washington, DC) I was part of a very diverse external relations team and participated in project meetings with different development experts in order to reach the right design solutions for the institution's need. My designs have been seen world-wide in events such as the IDB-IIC Annual meetings and the CEO Summit of the Americas.

Right now I'm switching gears again to freelance design. My interest as a freelancer is to have creative freedom - be it through the identity design of a local restaurant or the creation of graphics for international institutions.

My full cv is on linkedin and I've been slowly uploading projects to the behance portfolio. I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to work together —
