Cíntia Morais

I was born in Switzerland, grew up in France and then came back to my homeland, Portugal, when I was 18.

I graduated in journalism and communication at the University of Porto where I got to know the UPMedia team, a group that first was in charge of an experimental project (a corporate TV for the University of Porto), and after a few years became a broader service of content production and distribution (through the corporate TV and then an online portal - TVU.). Lately, the service started to give training to the University of Porto's community and some major media groups. After doing a professional internship in 2009, I was hired in 2010. I produced and managed contents, both for TVU. online and offline platforms and for TVU's social media platforms (facebook, twitter).

The TVU. won a prize in 2009 which allowed me to go to Austin (Texas) in 2011 and make an internship at the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas. I also was able to work partially with the KUT news team.

I attended an Executive Master in Digital Marketing at the IPAM (Instituto Português de Administração de Marketing) last year, in order to learn more about community management, SEO and data mining.

I am now working on new projects, on which I'll give some news soon.
