After 9 years in the medical field with such reputable companies as GE Healthcare and Integra Life Sciences, Rutgers College graduate Christopher LaPorte shed his role as a medical sales representative to follow his dream of creating a new iteration of Las Vegas nightlife, an Interactive Nightlife with his INSERT COIN(S) concept, a lounge with all the amenities of a nightclub but the soul of a videogame paradise. His passion for community, given his roots in Brooklyn New York, inspired his interest in creating his vision in a downtown environment. The allure of downtown Las Vegas made Chris feel right at home and thus his dream came to life.

Nearly 2 years later, INSERT COIN(S) has become THE destination spot on Fremont East spurning additional economic growth as Zappos prepares to call Downtown home in late 2013. The instant success of the venue has also created a new Vegas export as the second location has recently opened in Downtown Minneapolis in October 2012 and LaPorte has his sights set for the Las Vegas strip and San Francisco, CA. With a slew of awards under his belt, including consecutive Best of awards and most notably VEGAS SEVEN’s Best Entrepreneurial Role Model in 2012, LaPorte now strives for more ways to bring the videogame community in the forefront of American culture with numerous projects currently underway.
