Oklahoma native Clark Massad moved to France in 1999 after a successful eleven years with leading advertising agency, BBDO, in Chicago and Los Angeles. As former Advertising Director of Têtu magazine, the world's leading French-language gay & lesbian lifestyle and fashion monthly, Clark helped create in 2006 France’s only LGBTQ+ travel magazine: Têtu Voyage.

In 2009, Clark began devoting his leisure time to the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), serving as IGLTA French Ambassador. Clark was named IGLTA European Ambassador in May, 2010, and appointed to Vice President - Europe of the Association in March 2012. In October the same year, Clark began managing IGLTA's Global Partnership & Convention Sponsorship programs.

Clark was also a member of the culture & tourism organising committee for Paris2018, the 10th edition of the Gay Games, held in Paris in August, 2018. In 2021, Clark's work as a leader in LGBTQ+ tourism was recognised by the French Association, L'Autre Cercle, honouring him as an LGBT+ Role Model. Additionally, Clark represents IGLTA on the Belmond LGBTQ+ Advisory Board.

A six-time participant in the California AIDS Ride, Clark regularly donates his time to non-profit organisations, including the IGLTA Foundation. He has served as a Committee Member of the Howard Brown Health Center in Chicago, helped organise the annual Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Gala Dinner and managed a pro-bono advertising campaign for AIDS Project Los Angeles while at BBDO.

In 2005, Clark served as President of Various Voices Paris, organising the 20th anniversary edition of the European choir festival uniting more than 60 choirs and 1,500 singers representing 10 countries.

As a regular speaker and panel member at LGBTQ+ tourism events, Clark is often cited in gay and mainstream media. In addition to his activities with IGLTA, Clark has provided consulting services to LGBTQ+ travel professionals throughout Europe and the US and has served as a sales representative for a number of LGBTQ+ print and online media.

Clark holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Advertising from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. One of his favorite leisure pastimes is singing with Mélo’Men where he previously served on the choir's Board of Directors.
