Inspiration comes from unexpected places. Whether it is a small town with a quirky history or a mountaintop with an awesome view I love to share my experiences with others. For 15 years I worked as a television news producer in places like Bristol, VA, Nashville, TN and Knoxville, TN. After leaving the TV news business I braved the world of retail sales before landing a full-time position as a Communications Director at a large United Methodist Church. All the while I have pursued a variety of outlets for my feature writing.
