Multi Award winning Photographer Norton

I have lived the life of a photographer in the fast lane for more then 30 years with a career in documentary, news, editorial portrait photography. Many of my images have grazed national and international newspapers and magazines world wide. Now along with his wife Andrea we live close to the Strandja Mountains in the heart of rural Bulgaria and live a very different and slower pace of life, we grow our own vegetables have free range chickens rear sheep and pigs, all in the small rural village of Malomirovo. We live in a relaxed village with short snowy winters warm springs, long warm dry summers and mild autumns. We named our new home Poachers Cottage after the family regiment Poachers (2nd Bn) the Royal Anglian regiment where my I serviced and my two sons still service Queen and Country. I split my time between my passions for story documentary photography and my new found passion wildlife photography which I turn into fine art prints, blank cards and canvas prints all sale.

My collection of pictures of daily-life in rural Bulgaria is growing each week, many of the traditions I photograph today will be gone in years to come as the country moves forward and the young leave the village for the bigger towns and cities.
